Aitkin’s Riverwood Healthcare Center is a 24-bed Criticial Access hospital and clinic facility with nearly 400 healthcare professionals on staff. Riverwood offers a wide range of services and serves Aitkin County and the surrounding area.
Aitkin's Riverwood Healthcare Center offers extensive hospital and medical services. Hospital services include a Level 1 Heart Attack Hospital with Level 111 Trauma Center designation, 24-hour Emergency Care, Advanced Life Support Ambulance and Air Link Helicopter Services, Urgent Care, Patient Care, 24-hour Nursing Services, Acute Care, Coronary Care Unit/Intensive Care, and Surgical Services.
Additional services at Riverwood Healthcare Center allow for many more of your medical needs to be met as well. We offer Cardiac Rehab, Chemotherapy, Foot Care, Obstetrics, Diagnostic Services, Home Healthcare, Hospice, Laboratory, Radiology, MRI, Ct Scanning, Mammography, Stress Testing, Ultrasound, Vascular Testing, Sleep Studies, Rehabilitaion Services, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Care, Occupational Therapy, Orthotics/Prosthetics, Speech Therapy, Sports Medicine, Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care.
Community classes and Education are also offered at our facility. Childbirth Education, CPR Training, EMT Training, First Aid Classes and seminars on healthcare topics.
