The Aitkin County Historical Society is a non-profit county organization entrusted with the documentation, preservation and dissemination of information and materials pertinent to the history of Aitkin County, Minnesota. As a measure of providing a resource for information and education through programs and exhibits, the Aitkin County Historical Society operates a museum complex, complete with research resources, special exhibits and a museum gift shop. The Aitkin County Historical Society's Depot Museum is open year-round on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. In June, July, and August we are also open on Tuesdays during the same hours. |
