The Aitkin County Historical Society has special exhibits and events planned throughout the year with a wide variety of things to see and do for the whole family.

Our Depot and Log Museums are loated in Aitkin, the county seat of Aitkin County, Minnesota. We are just a two hour drive north of Minneapolis/St Paul on Highway 169. We are also 80 miles west of Duluth on Highway 210.

The museum complex is located covenient to downtown Aitkin, and just two blocks south of the stoplights. The stoplights are located at the junction of Highways 210 & 169.

Our facilities are handicapped-accessible.

Our main office is located in the Depot Museum building.
