Step back into our past.
The Victorian-era Aitkin Opera House building that houses BUTLER'S is presently accented with many historic artifacts that depict the early days of Aitkin and highlights the building's rich history.
Displays of logging implements, old tools, household utensils and everyday conveniences that date back to the turn of the century adorn the walls at BUTLER'S on two floors. Much of the artifacts on display represent the era and the type of goods sold by the Hodgeden-MacDonald General Merchandise store, which dates back to the early 1900s.
BUTLER'S also feature exhibits that relate to specific subjects such as Scandinavian immigrants, the Aitkin Opera House, and an early-1900s general store.
BUTLER'S is Minnesota's home of Grandpa Butler and everyday low, low prices!
