Aitkin County Fair - Held at the fairgrounds in Aitkin. carnival, 4-H exhibits and more.

AUG 5 McGREGOR
"Let's Go Golfing" Tournament - (tentative) McGregor Area Chamber of Commerce fund raiser at Savanna Golf and Supper Club north of McGregor.

AUG 6 PALISADE
Annual Invitational Fireman's Competition - Berglund Park in Palisade at 11:00 a.m. Great family entertainment.

AUG 6 TAMARACK
Tamarack Hey Days - BBQ food in the park, crafters, kid games, parade. Adult dance at the Tamarack City Park 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Coffee "and" served 8:30-11 a.m. at Tamarack Sno-Flyers Snowmobile Club.

AUG 6-7 CROSBY
Cuyuna Range Chamber of Commerce Annual Serpent Lake Power Boat Races.

AUG 12-13 DEERWOOD
Deerwood Summerfest - Annual event featuring a craft fair, bake sale, street dance, beer garden, bingo and corn feed.

AUG 12-14 McGREGOR
Annual Polka Fest - Held at Larson's Barn on Rat Lake.. 9 bands, music in the barn and outside under the big tent, food. Camp under the stars!

AUG 19-20 CROSBY
