Logging Camp

Step back into the era of pinery camps, bull cooks and lumberjacks at the festival. Experience two-man sawing, camp cookhouse and much more. Aitkin was once in the heart of timber country in the 1800s, and pinery camps were prolific. The town supported as many as 16 saloons during those rollicking times.
