Rendezvous Encampment

Experience the times and excitement when the fur trade was in its hey-day in the region in our rendezvous camp. The town of Aitkin is named for a prominent figure in fur trade history, William Alexander Aitkin - chief factor of the Fond du Lac district of Minnesota and later had a post near the present town site.
