Festival of Adventures September, 2006 Minnesota's premiere living history festival. Festival of Adventure explores Aitkin's past from the days of steamboats and pinery camps to the era of the fur trade. The event features the William Aitkin Fur Post Rendezvous commemorating the community namesake and one-time chief factor of the American Fur Company's Fond du Lac district. Held annually in September at the City Park in Aitkin. |
