D&E Foundry Products makes ladles from the best components available. Our ladle tilt gearing uses double enveloping worm gear speed reducers from the Cone Drive Division of Textron Corporation. These speed reducers are unusually strong with very little backlash. In foundry ladles, this means excellent control of the metal pouring process and a long service life. | The wear surfaces in the trunnion bearing are the bronze bushing and the bearing block. Both bearing surfaces can easily be replaced.
