They include "Karin Butler's Shottis", "Karen O'Connorson's Waltz" and "Lois' Waltz". In the spring of 2008 he wrote and performed "Romance for Violin and Cello" with the Great River Strings which featured Arnie and his daughter Sarah on the two solo instruments. Also featured was his "March in Scandinavian Style" which combined the sounds of the Great River Strings and the Skal Klubben Spelmanslag fiddle group. At present Arnie is interested in writing string music to be used as performance pieces for the Ripple River Strings and the Great River Strings. His goal is to provide an opportunity for beginning string players to play with more advanced musicians in order to enhance their excitement and appreciation of string music.
